Film Deaths[]
- Cop au Vin (Poulet au vinaigre) (1985) [Anna Foscarie]: Killed (off-screen, exact method unspecified) by Jean Topart, who then places her body in Josephine Chaplin's car, crashes the car and sets it on fire, so that Caroline's body will be mistaken for Josephine's and the death will look like an accident. Her body is shown afterwards in the morgue, covered with a sheet; we only see her charred hand (an obvious special-effects dummy hand) outside the sheet when Jean Poiret examines her and figures out the substitution.
TV Deaths[]
- Manon: Le miroir à trois faces (1966 TV movie) [Manon Lescaut (dramatic version)]: Presumably shot to death by a Bedouin rider in the desert. (I haven't seen this film, which adapts the story in three different formats--straight drama, musical/opera, and ballet--but I'm familiar with the story.)
