- Murdoch Mysteries: Invention Convention (2012) [Karl Shreyer]: Commits suicide by using an ultrasonic dog whistle to remotely trigger an air-gun device he had rigged to shoot himself in the head while he's making a speech at the convention; in order to both spare himself a long death from cancer and to frame his rival inventors for his "murder."
