- A Woman of Paris (1923) [Jean Millet]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by shooting himself outside a society party; his body is shown afterwards when the guests rush out after hearing the shot, then again when the police carry him into his apartment on a stretcher so his mother (Lydia Knott) can identify him and yet again later on as Edna Purviance kneels mournfully by his side.
