Film Deaths[]
- The Dark Knight Rises (2012) [Phillip Stryver]: Freezes to death or drowns, after he falls through an ice lake that he is forced to walk across, having been "sentenced" to his death via exile by Cillian Murphy for crimes against the city.
- Walking with the Enemy (2013) [Lt. Colonel Otto Skorzeny]: Details needed.
- Enola Holmes (2020) [Linthorn]: At the conclusion of a shootout turned fight, Burn is corkscrew-kicked onto a pinecone-shaped statue by Millie Bobby Brown he was while trying to kill Louis Partridge, resulting in his head being busted open. He survives long enough to mockingly tell Millie that he works for England, before dying from his head wound.
- Watcher (2022) [Weber/Watcher]: Shot multiple times in the back and chest by Maika Monroe, who Burn had believed he had killed, while Karl Glusman looks on in shock.
- Lift (2024) [Cormac]: Kicked out of a plane mid flight by Kevin Hart, after Gugu Mbatha-Raw opens the door, with Burn's body hitting the plane's wing with considerable force while he is falling to his death.
Television Deaths[]
- EastEnders: Episode 3327-3328 (2007) [Jed]: Dies of injuries sustained in a bus accident, in Phil Daniels' arms.
- Torchwood: Reset (2008) [Owen Harper]: Shot to death by Alan Dale. His body is shown again in the next episode, Dead Man Walking, when John Barrowman brings him back to life in an undead state.
- Torchwood: Exit Wounds (2008) [Owen Harper]: Having existed in a state of un-death since Dead Man Walking, Burn is killed a second, and final time when the room he is locked in is flooded with radioactive waste, destroying his body.
- Wuthering Heights (2009 TV) [Hindley Earnshaw]: Dies (off-screen) between the past events and the present day (18 years later). The last time he is seen is after he's been beaten to a pulp by Tom Hardy.
- Revenge: Masquerade (2013) [Trask]: Neck broken by Barry Sloane while being in a chokehold.
- Game of Thrones: First of His Name (2014) [Karl Tanner]: When he becomes distracted during fight with Kit Harington, and attempts to attack Jane McGrath, Burn is impaled through the back of the head with a sword by Harington, with the point of the sword emerging from his mouth. His body is then burned, along with Craster's Keep and the bodies of the other Night's Watch mutineers.
- And Then There Were None (2015; miniseries) [Detective Sergeant William Blore]: Stabbed in the chest with a knife (off-screen) by Charles Dance, who attacks him while wearing a bearskin rug (that a paranoid Burn envisions as a bear attack). His body is seen when Maeve Dermody and Aidan Turner discover it.
- Jamestown (2017 series): Decapitated with an axe by Jason Flemyng.
- Halo: Inheritance (2022) [Vinsher Grath]: Engulfed in flames after a deuterium power plant is blown up, after the power plant was shot with an assault rifle Yerin Ha, with Bokeem Woodbine assisting the former.
