- The Chinese Connection (Jing wu men; Fist of Fury; School for Chivalry; The Iron Hand) (1972) [Chen Zhen]: Shot repeatedly (off-camera) by Riki Hashimoto's men after Bruce walks out of the school to face them; we hear the shots over a freeze-frame of Bruce leaping towards the camera. His death is proved in Fist of Fury part 2 (1977)
