- Murder, She Wrote: Hit, Run and Homicide (1984) [Dean Merrill]: Run over by a remote-controlled car operated by Patti D'Arbanville; the scene cuts to commercial just before the impact.
- Star Trek: Enterprise: Awakening (2004) [Surak]: Dies of radiation poisoning from the fallout of nuclear warfare on Vulcan centuries before the episode begins. His consciousness was preserved over the centuries, however, and eventually transferred from Michael Nouri to Scott Bakula, who sees Bruce in visions. (See also Barry Atwater)
