- Porgy and Bess (1959) [Crown]: Strangled by Sidney Poitier at the end of a fight, after Brock pulls a knife on Sidney. (Due to legal/rights issues between MGM and the estate of George Gershwin, this film has been withdrawn from circulation and has never been released on video or DVD.)
- To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) [Tom Robinson]: Shot to death (off-screen) by police after Brock tries to escape; we learn of his death afterwards when Gregory Peck informs Mary Badham and Phillip Alford. (Thanks to Tommy)
- Two-Minute Warning (1976) [Paul] Possibly dies of his wounds after falling multiple floors after being knocked in the head with a sniper rifle by Warren Miller
- Alligator II: The Mutation (1991) [Chief Speed]: Dies when his vehicle crashes.

- Night Gallery: Logoda's Heads (1971) [Logoda]: Bitten/torn apart (off-screen) by his collection of shrunken heads, after Denise Nicholas uses her magic to control the heads.
- Faerie Tale Theatre: Puss in Boots (1985) [Ogre]: Eaten by Ben Vereen (while in his mouse form).
- The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest: Ndovu's Last Journey (1996; animated) [Masai]: Revealed to be a spirit of Ndovu (voiced by Frank Welker), he his last seen as a vision.
- Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm: Swords of Iikan (1996; animated) [Ramath]: Killed offscreen by Zara (Nancy Linari), he dies while speaking to Princess Kitana (Cree Summer), he only appears in flashbacks.
