- Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack (1988) [Amuro Ray]: Dies alongside Char Aznable (voiced by Michael Kopsa) while overloading his RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam's Psychoframe during an attempt to stop Char from dropping Axis onto Earth. (Initially, it was regarded as an MIA, but with Char and Amuro appearing as spirits in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, it is essentially confirmed that Char and Amuro died.)

- Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: The Gundam Deathscythe (2000; anime) [Zechs' Subordinate A]: Killed when Duo (Scott McNeil) destroys his Cancer with the Gundam Deathscythe's Buster Shield, causing it to explode.
- Dragon Ball Z: End of Earth (2003; anime) [Gohan]: Killed, alongside Piccolo (Scott McNeil), Goten (Jillian Michaels), Trunks (Cathy Weseluck), Tien (Matt Smith) and Chiaotzu (also Cathy Weseluck) when Kid Buu (Brian Dobson) destroys the Earth; he is brought back to life with the Dragon Balls in the episode Earth Reborn.
- Death Note: New World (2008; anime) [Light Yagami]: Dies of a heart attack inside the warehouse by the middle of the staircase after Brian Drummond writes down his name in the Death Note.
