- Dogville (2003) [Mrs. Henson]: Machine-gunned (off-screen) by James Caan’s thugs. (Thanks to Vincent, Artur and Dick Hertz)
TV Deaths[]
- The Captains and the Kings (1976; mini-series) [Elizabeth Healey Hennessey]: Dies (off-screen) of unspecified natural causes. She is shown lying on her deathbed while Harvey Jason visits her; he leaves after she falls asleep and shortly afterwards he gets a phone call informing him that she died later that day.
- The Bad Seed (1985; TV Movie) [Christine Penmark]: Shoots herself in the head (off-screen) after attempting to commit a murder-suicide by giving her daughter (Carrie Wells) a lethal dose of sleeping pills. Her death is confirmed in the following scene.
- Hamlet (2000) [Queen Gertrude]: Poisoned when she drinks from a cup that Jamey Sheridan had intended for Campbell Scott. (I haven’t seen this version but were all familiar with the story).
