• Carrie (1976) [Miss Collins]: Bisected at the waist when Sissy Spacek's telekinetic powers cause a basketball headboard to pin her against the wall.
• The Happening (2008) [Mrs. Jones]: Bashes her head through the window of her house, after being compelled to do so by the airborne toxin. (Thanks to Bryan)
• Split (2017) [Dr. Karen Fletcher]: Spine crushed by James McAvoy. Her body shows again when Anya Taylor-Joy sees her as she tries to escape.

TV Deaths

• The Leftovers: Ten Thirteen (2015) [Jane]: Dies of a heart attack (off-screen); we only see Betty on the floor lifeless with people trying to help her, as Liv Tyler returns from the bathroom.
• Preacher: The Light Above (2018) [Madame Marie L'Angelle, AKA Gran'ma]: Strapped into her own soul-draining machine by Dominic Cooper; given that she has only been kept alive through the stolen souls of previous victims, this causes her to age rapidly to the point of death.
• Supergirl: Shelter From the Storm  (2018) [Patricia Arias]: Killed after being impaled by Reign (Odette Annable) as Melissa Benoist and David Harewood look on; She appears as a spirit in the episode Battles Lost and Won to guide her daughter Samantha (also played by Odette) to the Fountain of Lilith.
