Film Deaths[]
- Folio: Macbeth (1955) [Macbeth]: Stabbed to death at the end of a swordfight with Patrick Macnee.
- The Heiress (1961) [Dr. Austin Sloper]: Dies (presumably off-screen) of lung disease. (I haven't seen this version, but I'm familiar with Ralph Richardson's death in the 1949 version.)
- Kings of the Sun (1963) [Ah Zok]: Shot in the chest with an arrow by one of his own traitorous soldiers during a battle.
- H.G. Well: The Shape of Things to Come (1979) [Dr. John Caball]: Killed by Jack Palance's new invention after Jack refuses to listen to Barry to give up his plan for humanity. Carol Lynley reveals to Barry's son Nicholas Campbell that Barry was already terminally ill from radiation sickness in spite of Jack's device killing him.
- A Tale of Two Cities (1980) [Marquis St. Evremonde]: Stabbed in the chest in his sleep by Barnard Hug.
TV Deaths[]
- The Martian Chronicles (1980) [Peter Hathaway]: Dies of a heart attack, after years of living with robot replicas of his long-deceased wife and daughter.
- Waking The Dead: Blind Beggar (2001) (Father Sebastian Stuart): Murdered in the church, off screen, by James Hayes who smashes his head with a tall candlestick. (Thanks to Brian)
