  • On a Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) [Daisy Gamble/Melinda Winifred Wayne Tentrees]: Playing a dual role as both the 19th-century "Winifred" and her 20th-century reincarnation "Daisy," "Winifred" is executed (off-screen) by hanging. We see her in court accused of treason in one of Daisy's past-life regression "flashbacks," and the circumstances of her death are revealed when Simon Oakland informs Yves Montand that he has researched the history and confirmed the details of Daisy's claims. ("Daisy" survives the movie.)
