TV Deaths[]
- Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Foghorn (1958) [Lucia Clay]: Dies of old age/natural causes in the asylum, her body is shown lying on the floor afterwards. (Barbara's face is not shown in the "present-day" sequences until the end of the episode, when her true age is revealed, until then it's implied that her flashbacks were of recent events and not distant past).
- Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Sybilla (1960) [Sybilla Meade]: Dies of an unspecified illness, with Alexander Scourby at her side.
- Dallas: Conundrum Part 1 (1991) [Ellie Ewing]: Barbara does not actually appear in this episode (as she had left the series at the end of the previous season), which takes place in an alternate world when Joel Grey shows Larry Hagman what would have happened if Larry had never been born. In the alternate reality, she died of a 'broken heart' many years in the past. Her grave is shown when Joel shows it to Larry. (Thanks to Portsguy)
- Dallas: No Good Deed (2012) [Miss Ellie Ewing Farlow]: Barbara doesn't appear in this episode (as it was produced several years after her real-life death), but it's revealed that her character from the original series died in 2002, as confirmed when her son Patrick Duffy visits her grave.
