- 28 Days (2000) [Andrea]: Dies of a drug overdose; her body is shown afterwards when Sandra Bullock discovers her on the bathroom floor.
- Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006) [Tania]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by sticking her head in a gas oven, some time before the story begins; she appears as a spirit in the afterlife for suicides, and her body is shown in a flashback when she tells Patrick Fugit how she died.
- One Missed Call (2008) [Leann Cole]: Falls into the path of an oncoming train when a supernatural force (caused by Ariel Winter's ghost) blows open the gate and knocks her off the overpass; her hand is supernaturally reanimated into dialing her cell phone afterwards. (See also Anna Nagata in the 2003 version.)

- Touched by an Angel: Children of the Night (1997) [China]: Fatally beaten by a john; she dies in Roma Downey's arms after being thrown out of the car into an alley.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Help (2003) [Cassie Newton]: Dies of a heart condition, collapsing suddenly while talking to Sarah Michelle Gellar.
- American Horror Story: Murder House: Home Invasion (2011) [Fiona]: Throat slit by Celia Finkelstein and Evan Peters in the basement, after Azura and her cohorts (Kyle Davis and Mageina Tovah) break into the house. Her body is shown afterwards when Kyle discovers her. She reappeared as a ghost in subsequent episodes.
Video Game Deaths[]
- Killzone: Shadow Fall (2013) [Dr. Hillary Massar]: Killed by Jamie Gray Hyder under the orders of Gene Farber. Her death is then covered up as an alleged "freak laboratory accident".
