Assumpta Serna (1957 - )
Film Deaths[]
- Matador (1986) [Maria]: Commits suicide by shooting herself in the mouth (off-camera) after stabbing Nacho Martinez in the back during sex as part of a suicide pact; they had planned to stab each other simultaneously, but their timing failed and she killed him before he could kill her, leaving her to kill herself afterwards. We hear the shot from outside the house. Their bodies are shown afterwards when Eusebio Poncela, Antonio Banderas, Carmen Maura and Eva Cobo rush in and discover them. (Nudity alert: Full frontal)
- I, the Worst of All (Yo, lo peor de todas) (1990) [Sister Juana Ines de la Cruz]: Dies (off-screen) of bubonic plaque; the movie ends with a block of text informing us of her death.
Television Deaths[]
- Falcon Crest: Ties that Bind (1989) [Anna Cellini]: Dies (off-screen) of a terminal illness. Assumpta does not actually appear in this episode (her last appearance had been in Resurrection, several episodes previous) but her death was reported in this one.
- Sharpe's Enemy (1994) [Teresa Moreno]: Shot in her chest by Pete Postlethwaite with a flintlock pistol, while trying to prevent him from raping Elizabeth Hurley; she then dies talking to Sean Bean.
- Henry VIII (2003) [Katherine of Aragon]: Dies (off-screen) of cancer; she is last seen lying on her sickbed.
