Film Deaths Edit

  • The Bed Sitting Room (1969) [Father]: After transforming into a parrot, he commits suicide (off-screen) by throwing himself off his perch. His "body" (still in parrot form) is shown after being cooked and served for dinner.
  • Theatre of Blood (Much Ado about Murder) (1973) [Horace Sprout]: Decapitated (off-screen) by Vincent Price while Arthur and his wife (Joan Hickson) are lying drugged in bed; his body is shown afterwards when Joan wakes up and Arthur's head falls off. (This is however setting aside the fact, that a decapitation would spur blood so massively).
  • The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It (1977) [Dr. William Watson]: Hits his head on the ceiling after using his bionic strength to spring into action (in slow-motion) (Played for Comic Effect)
  • Britannia Hospital (1982) [Guest Patient]: Dies of a heart attack in his hospital bed after delivering a speech to the visiting review committee.
