Film Deaths[]
- Top Gun (1986) [Lt. JG Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw]: Hits his head on the canopy as he and Tom Cruise eject from the plane that was in a flat spin.
- Summer Heat (1987) [Aaron]: Beaten to death off-screen by Bruce Abbott. His body is shown at his funeral.
- Miracle Mile (1988) [Harry Washello]: Either drowned (along with Mare Winningham) after their helicopter crashes into the LaBrea tar pits, or killed in an explosion when the nuclear missiles hit the city; the movie ends with them sinking into the tar, followed by the blast, so it's ambiguous which of the two events killed them.
Television Deaths[]
- ER: The Letter/On the Beach (2002) [Dr. Mark Greene]: Dies of a brain tumor, with Alex Kingston by his side. (His death was reported in The Letter, when the rest of the hospital staff was informed; it was shown in the following episode On the Beach.)
