• Planet of the Apes (2001) [Lt. Col. Grace Alexander]: Mauled to death (off-screen) by the laboratory primates, after they escape when the ship crashes on the planet while trying to find Mark Wahlberg. We only hear the sounds of the attack when Mark plays back the recording after finding the crashed ship.

TV Deaths

• Ghost Whisperer: All Ghosts Lead to Grandview (2007) [Audrey Asher]: Killed in a car accident, along with Javi Mulero, some time before the episode begins; they appear as ghosts to Jennifer Love Hewitt and Makenzie Vega. (Thanks to Stephen)

• Dexter: The Damage A Man Can Do (2008) [Ellen Wolf]: Beaten, strangled, and stabbed to death (off-screen) by Jimmy Smits in her home. Her body is shown afterwards in the following episode (About Last Night), when Michael C. Hall finds her buried in a pit, then again being carried off on a stretcher as the police investigate.
