Film Deaths[]

  • Saving Private Ryan (1998) [Soldier on the Beach]: Shot (off-screen) by german soldiers, his corpse is later seen on the beach.
  • Dead Bodies (2003) [Tommy McGann]: Dies when he falls against a coffee table during a fight with Darren Healy.
  • Spectre (2015) [Max Denbigh/C]: Falls to his death at the end of a struggle with Ralph Fiennes, after he shoots out the glass wall and Andrew loses his footing. Ralph and Ben Whishaw then look down at his corpse, while Rory Kinnear confirms that he is dead upon checking his pulse.
  • Victor Frankenstein (2015) [Inspector Turpin]: Electrocuted after he attempts to kill a monster (played by Guillaume Delaunay) and ends up being pushed into an electric case.

Television Deaths[]

  • Band of Brothers: Day of Days (2001) [Pvt. John "Cowboy" Hall(s)]: Killed in combat at the Brécourt Manor Assault. When Andrew runs into an enemy trench, he accidentally sets off a land mine, killing him. His body is later discovered by Damian Lewis.
  • Sherlock: The Reichenbach Fall (2012) [Professor James "Jim" Moriarty]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head, having put the gun in his mouth as Benedict Cumberbatch looks on in shock. Andrew's suicide leaves Benedict with seemingly no other choice, but to complete Andrew's plan and be forced to commit suicide by jumping off the roof, although Benedict is able to fake his death. (Andrew has appeared in later episodes in recorded messages and flashbacks.)
  • Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (2016) [Professor James "Jim" Moriarty]: Falls to his death when Martin Freeman kicks him off a cliff in Benedict Cumberbatch's drug-induced dream.
  • Big Hero 6: The Series: Countdown to Catastrophe (2018; animated) [Obake/Bob Aken]: Crushed to death by the falling debris in his lair, intending to stay behind rather than asking Scott Adsit's help.
