Film Deaths[]
- A Night to Remember (1958) [2nd Engineer John H. Hesketh]: Drowns or freezes to death (off-screen) during the sinking of the Titanic.
- The Pirates of Blood River (1962) [Jason Standing]: Eaten by a wave of piranha fish.
- Fall of the Roman Empire (1964) [Polybius]: (I recall he was killed in the film, but I can't exactly remember how).
- The Devil Ship Pirates (1964) [Tom]: Hanged by the pirates.
- The Viking Queen (1967) [Octavian]: Stabbed in the back by Sean Caffrey just as he has killed Nicola Pagett. (Thanks to Brian)
- Blood from the Mummy's Tomb (1971) [Prof. Julian Fuchs]: Killed by the curse, after putting Valerie Leon in place. We only see his blood come from his neck before collapsing.
- Mary, Queen of Scots (1971) [Ruthven]: Dies of unknown reasons off-screen. His body is later shown in front of the other Scottish clans.
- The Lion of the Desert (1980) [Salem] Shot by Italian soldiers.
Television Deaths[]
- Macbeth (1966) [Macbeth]: Presumably stabbed to death in a swordfight with Anthony Bate. (I haven't seen any of this, but we all know the play....)
- The Avengers: The Fear Merchants (1967) [Crawley]: Frightened to death by being the passenger of a speeding car.
- The Champions: The Ghost Plane (1968) [Dr John Newman]: Reported as 'missing' (assumed killed in explosion or drowned) along with fellow traitors Hilary Tindall and Dennis Chinnery when William Gaunt detonates the remote controlled bomb on their cargo freighter.
