- End of Evangelion (2002; anime) [Pen Pen, Rei Ayanami]: Pen Pen was killed during the Third Impact (off-screen). Rei dies after Shinji (Spike Spencer) rejects Instrumentality, her body decaying and being torn apart. All that remained of her was her head split in two.
