Television Deaths[]

  • Sailor Moon: The Sailor Senshi Die! The Tragic Final Battle (2014; anime) [Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter]: Uses her Supreme Thunder attack (which is amplified by the DD Girls' own electrical attacks) at point-black range, killing herself and two of the DD Girls. Revived along with the rest of the Sailor Senshi in the next episode, albeit with amnesia.
  • Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Countdown to Destruction! The Sailor Guardians' Last Battle (2019; anime) [Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter]: Dies when her Star Seed, along with those of Ami/Sailor Mercury (Kate Higgins), Minako/Sailor Venus (Cherami Leigh) and Rei/Sailor Mars (Cristina Vee) gets taken by Sailor Galaxia (Carrie Keranen), to the horror and despair of Usagi/Eternal Sailor Moon (Stephanie Sheh). Brought back to life in the final episode, Usagi's Love! The Moonlight Illuminates the Galaxy, after Usagi, as Princess Serenity, purifies Sailor Galaxia of Chaos.

Video Game Deaths[]

  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (2010) [Junko Enoshima/Mukuro Ikusaba, Toko Fukawa/"Genoicde Jack"]: Playing multiple roles, "Junko" is impaled by multiple sharp poles after attacking Brian Beacock. However, it is later revealed that this Junko is actually "Mukuro", and the real Junko arranged for the spikes to kill her to fake her own death and later use her corpse to frame Erika Harlacher for her "murder". Junko dies for real after Bryce Papenbrook, Erika, Cassandra Lee Morris, Jason Wishnov, Kaiji Tang, and "Toko" beat her Class Trial. She willingly subjects herself to all the executions she put Grant George, Keith Silverstein, Marieve Herington, and Dorothy Elias-Fahn (who had already been killed and reborn as an AI; see their respective pages for details) through before finally being put on a treadmill where she is crushed to death.
