- The Brokenwood Mysteries: Sour Grapes (2014) [Paul Winterson]: Drowned in a vat of wine by Peter Elliott, after Peter hits Alistair on the head with a bottle. His body is shown afterwards when Fraser Brown discovers him in the vat, then again as Neill Rea and Fern Sutherland investigate the scene. The murder is shown in a flashback later on.
