Alison Steadman (1946 -)
Film Deaths[]
- The Misadventures of Mr. Wilt (Wilt) (1989) [Eva Wilt]: Thrown off of a roof of a parking garage by Griff Rhys Jones; this turns out to be a fantasy/daydream sequence. (Thanks to Shirley)
TV Deaths[]
- The Singing Detective (1986) [Mrs. Marlow/Lili]: Playing a dual role she dies twice: (1) "Lili" is shot in the back in the street by Nazi spies; she dies shortly afterwards as Michael Gambon kneels by her side. (This occurs in Michael's detective-story sequences). (2) "Mrs. Marlow" commits suicide (off-screen) by drowning herself in the Thames River; her body is shown afterwards being pulled out of the water. (Note: there are several scenes of her body being pulled out of the water, but different scenes reveal a different face when the body is turned over; the body turns out to be Alison in the flashback/reality sequences, Kate McKenzie in the detective story sequences and Janet Suzman in one of Michael's hallucinations). (Nudity alert: Topless & rear) (See also Carla Gugino in the 2003 remake).
- Orphan Black (2013 series) (The Scandal of Altruism) (2016) [Kendall]: Shot and then set on fire by Gord Rand .
