- The Canal (2014) [Margaret Jackson]: In Rupert Evans' flashback vision (Alicja was actually murdered over a century earlier), Alicja is stabbed repeatedly in the chest and face by Paddy Curran, who then slits her throat. Earlier in the film, a black-and-white crime scene photograph of her body is shown. A character mentions that Paddy actually stabbed her fifty-two times. In addition to the injuries seen by Rupert in his flashback, the photograph also shows that she was disemboweled.
