- The Hate U Give (2018) [Khalil]: Shot to death by a white police officer (who mistakes a hairbrush Khalil is holding for a gun) as Starr watches on in horror. He dies as a handcuffed Amandla is sitting by his side. His body is shown at his funeral and he appears in flashback or as a ghost throughout the film.
