Film Deaths[]
- Virus (Day of Resurrection; Fukkatsu no hi) (1980) [Sailor #2 HMS Hereid]: Presumably dies when the submarine he is in is hit by a nuclear bomb. Even if he didn't die there, he's implied to have died in the scenes that are set four years later after the event as Masao Kusakari appears to be the only survivor.
- My Bloody Valentine (1981) [Howard Landers]: Neck snapped/beheaded by rope noose by Neil Affleck.
TV Deaths[]
- Highlander: The Series: The Lamb (1994) [Frank Brody]: Decapitated with his own sword by Myles Ferguson while fishing. Shown in a flashback.
- Smallville: Hourglass (2001) [Jim Gage]: Garroted (off-screen) with piano wire by Eric Christian Olsen, who came into his house posing as an electrician as part of his plan to murder him. It skips to the next scene as Eric gets his piano wire ready. His death is revealed later on in a newspaper.
