Albert Bassermann (1867 - 1952)
a.k.a. Albert Basserman
Film Deaths[]
- Erdgeist (Earth Spirit) (1923) [Dr. Schoen]: Shot to death by Asta Nielsen.
- Foreign Correspondent (1940) [Van Meer]: Playing both the real one and an imposter. The imposter is shot in the face by Charles Wagenheim (who used his camera to hide the shot). The real one is presumably killed by his kidnappers, we only see the struggle and him scream during the scene.
- New Wine (1941) [Ludwig Van Beethoven]: Dies (off-screen) of an unspecified illness; we learn of his death afterwards when Alan Curtis informs Ilona Massey.
- Rhapsody in Blue (1945) [Professor Franck]: Dies of old age/natural causes, while listening to a radio broadcast of Robert Alda's music.
