- Oh Heavenly Dog! (1980) [Freddie]: Killed (off-screen) in a car crash when a truck hits his taxicab; his spirit is later sent back to Earth in the body of a cat. We learn of his death afterwards when Chevy Chase (in the body of Benji) encounters Alan's cat form and Alan explains what happened.
