Film Deaths[]
- The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989) [Michael]: Choked to death when Michael Gambon stuffs the pages of a book into his mouth, on top of having been beaten and tortured by Michael. His body is shown again afterwards when Helen Mirren discovers him; Helen then has Richard Bohringer cook Alan's corpse before she forces Michael at gunpoint to eat the body.
- The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) [Sauron]: Providing the voice of Sauron. he loses his power and body and fallen to half-life after Harry Sinclair severs his power ring. when he rest he can to take back his power.
- The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) [Sauron]: Providing the voice of Sauron, he is killed once and for all when the One Ring is destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom (after taken by Andy Serkis that also fallen into the fire), causing his Eye to implode.
Television Deaths[]
- The Tragedy of Coriolanus (Coriolanus) (1984; TV movie) [Caius Martius Coriolanus]: Stabbed to death by assassins.
- Poirot: The Dream (1989) [Benedict Farley/Hugo Cornworthy]: Playing two characters in the episode, "Benedict" is shot in the head as he looks out of a window by "Hugo", who places the gun in his hand to make it look like a suicide. "Hugo" survives the episode.
- Midsomer Murders: Dark Autumn (2001) [Owen August]: Bludgeoned to death with a walking stick by Robert Glenister.
