- The Prince and The Pauper (1937) [Captain of The Guard]: Stabbed in the stomach by Errol Flynn with a rapier during a swordfight in the forest.
- They Drive By Night (1940) [Ed J. Carlsen] Murdered by his wife Ida Lupino who leaves him unconscious and drunk in his car with the car running causing him to die from the fumes.
- Captains of the Clouds (1942) [Francis Patrick 'Tiny' Murphy]: Killed when his plane crashes as he was flying it around, disrupting a ceremony.
- Colt .45 (1950) [Sheriff Harris]: He is walking Randolph Scott into town at gunpoint when Scott's Indian pals arrive and Chief Thundercloud fires an arrow into his chest. He manages to get into town before dying in his office.(Thanks to Brian)
