- The Phantom of Liberty (La Fantome de la liberte) (1974) [Prefect Sister/Woman in Black]: Playing a dual role, “Prefect’s Sister” dies (off-screen) of “miserere colic” (intestinal blockage), four years before the story begins. She appears in a flashback when her brother (Julien Bertheau) tells his story to the “Woman in Black” after remarking on his resemblance to his sister. Her coffin is shown with her hair sticking out of it, when Julien goes to her family crypt after receiving a telephone call from beyond the grave. (Nudity alert: Topless in the flashback sequence)
